Karonga Satellite Centre Library

Karonga Satellite Centre Library is one of the satellite libraries operated by the Mzuzu University Library & Learning Resources Centre. It strives to be a leading, dynamic, inclusive and innovative library, providing access to up-to-date information that supports teaching, learning and research for Open, Distance and e-Learning (ODeL) students in the districts of Rumphi, Karonga, Chitipa and beyond.

• Lending of print resources to students visiting the centre
• Electronic resources at home, work or business through MyLoft (via MALICO)
• E-resources on request via email or WhatsApp
• Information Literacy and research-clinic sessions — search & retrieval using MyLoft, reference management software, ethical use of AI, SPSS for data analysis, and research report formatting
• Lending of books and tablets
• Online information service delivery and student mentoring
